Getting from Sucre to Potosí, bus or shared taxi

Planning to travel from the Constitutional Capital to the mining city soon. Is taking the bus a terrible idea or should I just split a taxi with other travelers?

Shared taxi (trufi) is quicker and not much more expensive than the bus, it's a solid middle ground for that route.
