Best Non-Romantic-Road Scenic Drive?

The German Alpine Road has views that are just incredible, especially the section near the Zugspitze mountain. It's less crowded than the Romantic Road, too. What are your thoughts on this alternative?

The Alpine Road is definitely underrated! I drove a good part of it near Berchtesgaden, and the scenery is just completely stunning, way more dramatic than the Romantic Road. It feels like a proper road trip, winding through the mountains with all the little villages. If you want the real German landscape without the huge tour bus crowds, that's the one to do.
