Is the Gardens by the Bay light show really worth the crowds?

Going next month, but videos make it seem so packed at night what's the best viewing spot.

Definitely worth seeing at least once! Try to find a spot a bit further away, maybe near the Dragonfly Bridge, less crowded and you still get a great view of the Supertrees.
